Pere Ubu Returns
Pere Ubu is gearing up for a brief road trip this April, with stops planned in half a dozen U.S. cities.
The group, which was formed in 1975 in Cleveland, will hit New York City; Northampton, Mass.; Buffalo, N.Y.; Pittsburgh; Baltimore and one more city TBA April 3-8.
Pere Ubu released its 13th album, Why I Hate Women, last September on Smog Veil and played a handful of cities in the fall.
The group tours rarely and usually limits its outings to a week or less.
Why I Hate Women is the band’s first recording since 2002’s St. Arkansas.
