Starbucks Creates Label
Starbucks announced March 12th that it will partner with Concord Music Group to create a new record label based on its Hear Music brand.
The label, which will be based in Los Angeles, will sign its own artists – both emerging and established – and sell records through Starbucks stores and other retailers.
Although officials declined to say whether the label has signed any artists yet, it is reportedly close to signing Paul McCartney.
