The bands will launch their assault May 9 at SUNY/Canton in New York and bring the noise to 27 cities large and small across the country including Boston, Providence, R.I., Columbus, Ohio, Chicago, Noblesville, Ind., Philadelphia, Knoxville, Tenn., Lincoln, Neb. and Tulsa, Okla. Puddle of Mudd and Red will share opening duties on various stops on the tour.

Both band’s web sites promise that this is only the first leg of the tour and tell fans to expect more dates to be announced in the future.

3DG are touring in support of their latest release, One-X, which has scored the band spots on both the Modern and Mainstream Rock charts. The band were recently featured in a behind the scenes special entitled “Three Days Grace: Behind The Pain” which aired on Much Music.

Breaking Benjamin are hitting the road behind their 2006 album, Phobia, which landed the band in the top ten when it debuted last August.
