‘Animal House’ Club For Sale

The Dexter Lake Club, the kitschy Oregon roadhouse where Boon, Pinto and Flounder journeyed to see Otis Day and the Knights in the 1978 film "Animal House," is for sale.

The 2,444-square-foot space, which was built more than 50 years ago, has an asking price of $259,000.

Although the club still has its familiar rooftop neon sign, the bar and lounge portion of the property, which was once a popular hangout for locals, hasn’t been used in years and has been mostly gutted.

The front portion of the club most recently housed a series of mom-and-pop diners.
