Police Get Serious About Man In Underpants

London police are mounting a serious investigation into complaints they’ve received from a man who claims he had to flee Boy George’s flat in his underpants.

After escaping to the local newsagent’s shop in this state of semi-nudity, 28-year-old Norwegian model Auden Carlsen told Hackney CID that the former Culture Club frontman had kidnapped him and used him as a bondage slave.

A spokesman from Hackney CID, which arrested George (real name: George O’Dowd) and bailed him to reappear in June, said the force is investigating an allegation of "false imprisonment and common assault."

He also confirmed that a man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the allegations.

Kevin O’Dowd, George’s older brother, laughed off Carlsen’s claims that he was lured to the gay singer’s flat to pose for photos for £400 and was then pounced on, chained to a wall and threatened with the words: "Now you’ll get what you deserve."

"It’s a good laugh all this," the elder O’Dowd reportedly told The Mirror, while showing reporters pictures of Carlsen posing semi-naked in handcuffs and stilettos in George’s flat in Shoreditch, East London.

"These were taken a month ago," he said, explaining that "the bloke" has been modeling for the brothers’ clothes shop and this time "he’s taken the money and disappeared."

"But he’s gone too far reporting this to the police and it will come back on him. George isn’t at all annoyed at the allegations, in fact he thinks it’s hilarious.

"Yeah, he was arrested, but the police are always going to follow it up when someone makes a complaint like that."
