Observant Pollstar readers may have noticed we posted the show earlier today, and now details have gone up on the show on both Highline and McCartney’s web sites.

A limited number of free wristbands were supposed to become available on a first come, first served basis at the Highline box office just after noon Eastern time the day of the show.

However, a representative from the Highline told Pollstar that once word leaked out about the show (actually, it was Macca’s web site that let the cat out of the bag), people started lining up outside the club.

To keep things under control, the Highline issued vouchers to those who showed up so they could come back and claim wristbands on the day of the show, which means most of the wristbands are already spoken for.

The Highline rep did offer a glimmer of hope for fans though, telling Pollstar it was always possible more wristbands might be released tomorrow.

McCartney’s web site is also holding a contest to give fans a chance to win a limited number of wristbands. The contest runs through midnight Eastern time tonight, and winners will be contacted tomorrow.
