‘Kramer’ Tours Cambodia

Comedian Michael Richards is on a spiritual journey in Cambodia, with plans to visit Thailand.

The former Cosmo Kramer of "Seinfeld" had a career-changing meltdown at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood in November when he shouted racial slurs at hecklers.

Now the Los Angeles Time reports he and his fiancée have traveled to remote temples in Cambodia and visited Angkor Wat on a tour sponsored by the Nithyananda Foundation religious sect – which adheres to the teachings of a 29-year-old Hindu monk.

"That night, when I was insulted and disrupted, I lost my heart; I lost my sense of humor," Richards told the Times. "I’ve retired from that. I’m taking time off to feel myself out, get to know myself and appreciate other people."
