Anschutz Has A ‘Post’ Drama

"Insider editing" is rampant on Wikipedia. Fox News, CIA, FBI, PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch and Diebold are just a few of the companies caught adjusting Wikipedia entries to their liking at the cost of accuracy.

According to the Washington City Paper, the latest victim was Philip Anschutz, who owns the Washington Examiner.

Somebody edited the paper’s Wikipedia entry, removing Anschutz’s name and replacing it with Charles Manson, according to the WikiScanner Web site, which tracks changes to Wikipedia by IP address.

The culprit? Someone working from a Washington Post computer.
