Isaac Hanson, 26, was taken to Baylor University Medical Center on Tuesday night after a show at the House of Blues in Dallas. A nursing supervisor said Hanson was in stable condition Wednesday night.

Dallas-Fort Worth television station KDFW reported Hanson was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, which occurs when a blood clot in the extremities breaks away and travels to the lungs.

Hanson’s brother Taylor told the TV station that his brother was doing well.

“We appreciate thoughts and prayers that have been out there for him,” he said by phone from Tulsa, Okla., the band’s hometown. “We want the tour to go on, so you know we are working steadfastly to see how long he’s going to need to rest.”

The band’s current tour got underway late last week and is scheduled to run through November 11. The brothers have included a number of philanthropic initiatives in their tour plans.

The band’s Ocober 3 show in Tulsa was postponed and the there hasn’t been an official announcement about Hanson’s next gig, which is supposed to take place October 5 in Kansas City, Mo.
