Workin' For A Living (Afternoon Update)

It’s 3 PM on the west coast (2:55 PM Fresno time), and man, oh, man are we ready for the weekend! We can hear the grinding of the blenders as our caterers mix their award-winning margaritas, the sushi chefs chopping their incredible blow fish and the masseuses warm up the body oils for our 5 PM, end-of-the-week rubdowns. Yes, the weekend is so close we can taste it (with a bit of salt around the rim and a slice of lime on the side), but until that quittin’ whistle blows, it’s work, work, work.

We’ve just posted Cake’s annual “Unlimited Sunshine” tour. Cities include San Diego, Portland, Boston, DC and New York. Look for Agent Ribbons on all dates, The Detroit Cobras on most and Brazilian Girls during the December run.

Jerry Joseph has new December dates for North Carolina, Oregon and Montana; Flogging Molly will be, well, flogging in Portland, Boise and Salt Lake City in December and Roisin Murphy has a very extensive Europe tour running through December.

Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials have added dates for Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Delaware; Acoustic Alchemy adds an April 2008 date in Palm Beach, Florida and Dead Confederate hits Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL, and Washington, DC, in November.
