DiFranco will finish up a two-night run at the Music Hall Theatre in Toronto tonight, before heading back to the States for a stop November 9 at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston.

Other upcoming shows include November 13 at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, November 16 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., January 21 at the Capitol Center For The Arts in Concord, N.H., and February 2 at the State Theatre in Ithaca, N.Y.

The singer will also be doing a live interview at Kaufman Concert Hall in New York City December 16.

Up until a couple of years ago DiFranco was one of the hardest touring acts in the business, but hit a snag in 2005 when she was diagnosed with tendonitis in her wrists and hands.

She returned to the road with a much lighter schedule, but even that came to a halt with the birth of her daughter on January 20 of this year.

DiFranco spends most of her time these days focusing on the joys of motherhood, but since July has played occasional shows with a touring band that currently includes Todd Sickafoose on upright bass, Allison Miller on drums, and Mike Dillon on percussion and vibes.
