Dates, Dates & More Dates …

Monday sure got a whole lot better with the addition of the 2008 matchbox twenty tour. Judging from the amount of dates released so far, it looks as if Rob Thomas and friends are trying to make up for being absent from the touring scene since 2003.

We also posted the lineup for night #1 of the featuring Bad Religion, Linkin Park, Paramore, Avenged Sevenfold, Angels And Airwaves, Rise Against and Serj Tankian.

We have a whole lotta new 2008 dates for Chris Smither; four new Dave Alvin show listings and a new string of 2008 UK dates for Johnny Winter.

Eric Bibb adds NY, VA, MI and IL; James Cotton Band adds to its December calendar and Battlefield Band slots TX, CA, WA and BC for 2008.

During the last couple of hours we also updated the schedules for Big Sandy & His Fly Rite Boys, Amy Rigby, Candye Kane, Caroline Herring, Cephas & Wiggins, Death On Two Wheels, Fiction Plane, Janiva Magness, and The Bellville Outfit.

Oh, and did we mention that we just posted 2008 dates for matchbox twenty?

But we’re only half way through the day here at Tour Date Central, and we have miles and miles of routings to complete before that final bell rings out its quittin’ time chime. Be sure to catch your latest update coming up around 3 PM (PST) from Pollstar.com!
