Dates, Dates & More Dates …
It was wall-to-wall Willie Nelson dates in our processing pit this afternoon as the Red Headed Stranger updates with shows for January through May. Look for Willie in places like New Orleans, Tallahassee, Dallas, Topeka, and Austin, plus Euro stops in countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway and The Netherlands.
Terence Blanchard adds a six-night stand at NYC’s Jazz Standard; come February you can see New York Voices in, well, New York and you can add Los Angeles, CA, and New Haven, CT, to the list of cities on Pat Metheny’s 2008 calendar.
During the course of our day we updated schedules for Bob Dylan, Nina Storey, Jeremy Camp, Phil Wickham, Anne Murray, Ani DiFranco, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Ellis Paul, Cory Morrow, Better Than Ezra, Hamell On Trial, Cheryl Wheeler, Connie Kaldor, The Whigs, Dan Bern, Tony Furtado, Tab Benoit, Slightly Stoopid, Porter – Batiste – Stoltz, Blind Melon, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Bump, Clumsy Lovers, Tom Paxton, Lucy Kaplansky and more artists and bands than even we can remember, what with the zeta rays beaming in from Rigel IV on the same day we forgot to wear our tinfoil hats.
And that brings our merry little boutique operation to a close for today. Drive safely and watch out for the other guy. Adios!
