An old music industry legend states that concert dates posted on Pollstar.com on the last day of the year are charmed dates. Magnificent performances, crystal sound systems and big bucks at the box offices.

Now, we’re not ones to perpetuate any music biz urban myth. On the other hand, we’re not ones to challenge tradition either. So here’s the first batch of dates we entered today, and good luck to the bands and artists on those dates.

Eddie Money is one of the hardest working blokes in the biz and the “Shakin'” star has new gigs for your perusal this morning. Look for Eddie in places like Homestead, PA, in February, Uncasville, CT, in March, Vegas in May and back to Uncasville in August.

This morning’s additions to Celine Dion’s global tour include two for Seoul, South Korea, Ra Ra Riot adds New London, CT, Montreal, QC, Pontiac, MI, and Toledo, Ohio, for January, Rock Island, IL, and Pittsburgh, PA, for February and New York City for March; Marilyn Manson slots Miami for January and Jack’s Mannequin ships itself to East Lansing, MI, in February.

During the first 90 minutes of biz we also updated the schedules for Lynam, Nancy Wilson, Elvin Bishop, Fear Nuttin Band, G-Funk All-Stars, Paul Potts, Supersuckers, Sole, The Cobbs, Velveteen Pink, The Pack and Thief.

But the mighty Pollstar.com tour-date generator is just warming up! Check out the most recent concert date announcements in your Midday Update, scheduled for sometime around 12 noon (PST), from Pollstar.com!
