Crowes Put On Warpaint
On a special run of “One Night Only” shows beginning March 2 and wrapping March 20, fans can hear Warpaint, the group’s first album of all new studio material in seven years. The new tracks will be followed by songs from their catalog and “selected surprises.”
The Crowes will also will headline a SXSW show at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas, March 15.

The downunder trek – their first since 1991 – continues through April 5. Two more international dates (London, April 9; Amsterdam, April 11) will end this leg of the tour.
A major market multiple night U.S. tour will begin in May, with cities and venues to be announced in the near future.
Warpaint, due out March 4, marks the recording debut of two new band members – second guitarist Luther Dickerson, formerly of North Mississippi Allstars, and keyboardist Adam MacDougall.
The album is being independently released on the band’s own Silver Arrow Records. The disc features 11 songs, all of which were written by Chris and Rich Robinson, except “God’s Got It” by the Reverend Charlie Jackson. “Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution” is the first single and video.
