The duo will kick off the journey April 20 at the Palace Theatre in Louisville, K.Y.

Other North American stops on the schedule so far include Knoxville Coliseum in Tennessee (April 22) and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, Tenn., and BJCC Arena in Birmingham, Ala. (April 26).

Additional dates are expected for June and July.

Tickets for North American shows go on sale January 25 through venues or at Ticketmaster.com.

Destinations outside the States include The NIA in Birmingham, U.K. (May 5), Philipshalle in Dusseldorf, Germany (May 10), Grand Rex in Paris (May 13), Hovet in Stockholm, Sweden (May 16), and Wembley Arena in London (May 22).

The Raising Sand Tour will also feature legendary producer T Bone Burnett, who helmed the album, leading a band featuring many of the musicians who played on the disc.

During the tour, Plant and Krauss will perform songs together onstage from Raising Sand, as well as other songs from their careers.

Fans can catch a preview on February 11, when CMT will air “CMT Crossroads: Robert Plant and Alison Krauss,” which also features songs from the new album and material from both artists’ extensive catalogs.
