NMA In The USA
New Model Army is finally coming to North America in support of its 10th studio album High, released in 2007 on Attack Attack/Redeye. The band was forced to postpone its original tour in September ’07 at the last minute due to visa complications.
“It was unbelievably frustrating not to be able to play High in North America last autumn,” vocalist,/guitarist/songwriter Justin Sullivan said. “Now at last we get the chance! The European tour included some of our best shows ever, so this is going to be great. The current band is certainly the best version of New Model Army for more than 20 years.”
The tour begins March 18 in Philadelphia, crosses the U.S., makes a few stops in Canada, and end up in NYC’s Mercury Lounge on April 18.
The trek will see a variety of opening acts, including Echoes & Shadows on the East Coast, Zydepunks in the South, Vale for the West Coast dates and plenty of local acts to warm up the crowd.
