U.S. Audiences Still Ga Ga Over Spoon
Austin rockers Spoon, who are still going strong on 2007’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, have announced the first set of dates for a spring tour.
The new run kicks off April 2 at the Uptown Theatre in Kansas City, Mo., and is currently scheduled to run through the latter part of the month.
Other stops include the Vic Theatre in Chicago (April 4), the Emerald Theatre in Mount Clemens, Mich. (April 6), Terminal 5 in New York City (April 9), NorVa in Norfolk, Va. (April 11), Revolution in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (April 16) and The Vogue in Indianapolis (April 19).
Additional dates are expected.
Opening duties for most of the tour will be handled by The Walkmen and White Rabbits.
