The trek kicks off March 8 at the MX Beat Festival in Mexico City and runs through the first week of April.

Other stops include Engine Room in Houston (March 11), Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin during SXSW (March 14), 40 Watt Club in Athens, Ga. (March 17), North Star Bar in Philadelphia (March 22), Double Door in Chicago (March 25), Chop Suey in Seattle (March 31) and the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles (April 4).

Opening duties for several shows on the tour will be handled by Ra Ra Riot.

The Cribs, twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and younger brother Ross, suffered a run of bad luck last year, when vocalist/guitarist Ryan was taken to the emergency room after passing out during a performance in Birmingham, U.K.

His twin was admitted to the hospital two days later with what turned out to be blood poisoning caused by cuts from the strings of his bass guitar.

The Cribs also released a digital EP through iTunes earlier this month that features remixes by The Postal Service and a live video for the song “Our Bovine Republic.” The EP will be available in wider distribution March 8.
