Before heading to Europe, Reed will play a set March 12 at Pangaea in Austin, and then deliver the keynote speech at this year’s South By Southwest Music and Media Conference the next day.

Reed’s Berlin trek kicks off June 23 at Docklands in Cork, Ireland and is scheduled to hop around Europe through late July.

Stops include Royal Centre in Nottingham, U.K. (June 26), Salle Pleyel in Paris (June 28), Royal Albert Hall in London (June 30), Philharmonie in Munich, Germany (July 3), the Opera House in Copenhagen, Denmark (July 7), Congress Hall in Warsaw, Poland (July 14), Camp Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal (July 19), Conde Duque in Madrid, Spain (July 22) and the Bullring in Benidorm, Spain (July 26).

Besides Reed and his musical ensemble, the production features musical direction by legendary producer Bob Ezrin (Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Kiss) and producer and “Saturday Night Live” music supervisor Hal Willner, along with a set designed by artist and Golden Globe winning director Julian Schnabel.
