Damage To Tabernacle
Live Nation is assessing damage to Atlanta’s Tabernacle, which was hit by a tornado March 14th. The damages were described as "significant" and structural engineers were checking the overall condition of the building.
"Once the evaluations are completed, Live Nation will announce a timetable for repairs so that the building can reopen and shows can resume," the company said in a statement. More details were expected March 21st.
Atlanta was hit hard by a downtown tornado and windstorms, disrupting the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, held in part at the city’s Georgia Dome.
At least two people died as a result of the tornado and dozens were injured.
