Bronfman Staying Put

Warner Music Group chairman and CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. isn’t going anywhere any time soon because an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, filed March 17th, locks him in to continue running the label for another five years through March 15, 2013.

The terms of his initial contract, which ran from March 1, 2004, to March 1, 2008, continue with Bronfman enjoying a salary of at least $1 million and a target bonus that can range from 300 percent to 600 percent of his base salary, according to musicweek.com.

Prior to his gig at Warner, Bronfman was the executive vice chairman of Vivendi Universal.
