Other acts on the roster so far for the September 6-7 event, which will be held at Toronto Island Park, include Bloc Party, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, Wintersleep, Spiritualized, The Weakerthans, Constantines and The Pigeon Detectives.

Tickets, which are $159 for a two-day ticket and $87 for a one-day ticket, are available at FutureShop.ca and Ticketmaster.ca.

Part of the proceeds from ticket sales, as well as from on-site fundraising, will go to Virgin Unite Canada, the independent charitable arm of the Virgin Group which works to make an immediate, tangible difference in the lives of people in need across the world.

Festival organizers are also working to make the event carbon neutral with on-site recycling, use of biodegradable food and drink containers, use of green energy sources to power as much of the festival as possible, purchase of carbon offsets and planting trees to help ensure future carbon reduction.
