B.B. King has purchased a blues club in his hometown of Indianola, Miss.
Club Ebony has hosted artists including Count Basie, Ray Charles, James Brown and Ike Turner, among others, since opening in 1945, according to the venue Web site.
A handful of clubs that share the B.B. King Blues moniker have opened in cities including Memphis, Nashville, New York City, Los Angeles and Orlando, Fla.
