Prior to the kick-off of its U.S. and Canadian trek, the duo has a slew of U.K. shows on the books, with stops including Belfast, Glasgow, London, Islington, Newcastle, Oxford, Sheffield, Glasgow and Leeds.

The Ting Tings launch their assault on North America June 7 at The Casbah in San Diego and wrap things up June 21 with an appearance at the Popped! Festival at Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Other venues on the schedule include the Plaza Club in Vancouver (June 9), Chop Suey in Seattle (June 10), 330 Ritch Street in San Francisco (June 12), Zero One in Los Angeles (June 14), Bowery Ballroom in New York City (June 18) and Southpaw Music & Entertainment in Brooklyn, N.Y. (June 20).

Tickets for some shows are available at Ticketmaster.com.

The Ting Tings have been generating quite a bit of buzz lately with their catchy blend of dance and indie rock, especially after several well-received showcases at South By Southwest in Austin last month.

Nothing, due May 19 in the U.K., will be released in the States as a digital release on May 20, with the CD release coming sometime in late July.

In the meantime, several tracks from the album are streaming at the band’s MySpace page, including the wickedly catchy, Le Tigre-meets-Toni Basil track, “That’s Not My Name.”
