The run kicks off May 6 at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia and wraps up May 19 at the El Ray Theatre in Los Angeles.

Other venue’s on the singer’s itinerary include Bowery Ballroom in New York City (May 8), Mod Club in Toronto (May 11), Schuba’s in Chicago (May 12), Triple Door in Seattle (May 15), and Bimbo’s 365 Club in San Francisco (May 18).

Joining Assbring for the trek are Lykke Li and Anna Ternheim.

Stars, which drops April 22, was recorded in the singer’s studio in Gothenburg, Sweden and differs from her previous release.

Assbring explained that she “tried to let the recording process be as free and organic as possible. Many takes were first ones.

“In contrast to my first album, which generally was guitar oriented, I mostly play the piano or organ on this one.”

The singer also handled all the recording, producing and mixing duties herself.
