As with the tour, Vesely, who’s known for his raw, acoustic recordings, enlisted the help of a full band to bring added depth to his latest release.

Collaborating with producers Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails, Angels And Airwaves) and Butch Walker (Fall Out Boy, All-American Rejects), the singer explained that the album ventures into new territory, but aims to stay true to his artistic vision.

“Some changes were necessary this time around because of the developments I’ve had as a person and as a performer,” he said. “I just wanted to be creative and make the songs I wanted to make. I only used what I thought each song needed and that meant adding some new layers to the cake.”
