The fun begins May 22 at Shubas Tavern in Chicago, with the tour concluding June 13 at Echo in Los Angeles.

The Submarines is also sharing its heartfelt songs at The Crofoot in Pontiac, Mich. (May 24), Le Divan Orange in Montreal, Quebec (May 25), Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, Mass. (May 28), Mercury Lounge in New York (May 30) and North Star Bar in Philadelphia (May 31). There’s also stops at Black Cat in Washington D.C. (June 1), Chop Suey in Seattle (June 6), The Bourbon in Vancouver, British Columbia (June 7), Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, Ore., (June 8) and CafĂ© Du Nord in San Francisco (June 10).

Honeysuckle Weeks was released May 13 and the album is already off to a great start with a little help from ABC’s hit show, “Grey’s Anatomy.”

After the track “Brightest Hour” was featured on the May 8 episode of the hospital drama, the song reached #1 most popular song on The Hype Machine, a site that tracks content from thousands of music blogs.

Radio station KCRW also named Honeysuckle Weeks the album of the month for May. The band stopped by the station May 13 for a performance on DJ Nic Harcourt’s radio program, “Morning Becomes Eclectic.”
