Franti & Spearhead’s Rebel Rock
Michael Franti & Spearhead will release its latest album, All Rebel Rockers, in September as it continues its non-stop tour that kicked off in February.
The album, recorded in Kingston, Jamaica, with iconic reggae production team Sly & Robbie, is described as “hybrid dub-infused soul” and features Zap Mama founder Marie Daulne and Jamaican soul/dancehall star Cherine Anderson.
The band’s current trek, including headline and festival appearances, will take Franti, guitarist Dave Shul, drummer Manas Itene, bassist Carl Young and keyboardist Raleigh Neal across the U.S. and on select dates in Japan and Canada.
Tickets for select dates are available at Spearhead.Baselineticketing.com.
