The features Steve Kimock on guitar, George Porter Jr. on bass, Jen Durkin on vocals, Walfredo Reyes Jr. on drums and talking drum master Sikiru. They start with the Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, Calif., June 6 and wrap at the 10,000 Lakes Festival in Detroit Lakes, Minn., July 24.

Festivals on the itinerary include Wakarusa, Rothbury, Lakeview Music, Summerfest and Great South Bay. Venues include Easterly locations like Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Mass. (July 8), Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pa.(July 11), Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore (July 20) and Vogue Theatre in Indianapolis (July 22).

Hart headlined the Green Apple Music Festival in celebration of Earth Day in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park with a mass drum ensemble that included Tommy Lee, John Fishman, Joan Baez and Bob Weir. He also recently appeared at the “Deadheads For Obama” event along with fellow Dead members Weir and Phil Lesh.
