The trek launches tonight at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas and will hit clubs, theatres and a few festivals scattered across the U.S. and Canada through early July.

Stops include Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin (June 6), Czar Bar in Tampa, Fla. (June 10), the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn. (June 15), St Andrews Hall in Detroit (June 18), The Fillmore – TLA in Philadelphia (June 26), the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal at Metropolis in Quebec (July 2) and the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest in Ontario (July 5).

The band also has a handful of international dates on its schedule following the North American tour, including Creamfields Czech Republic at Breclav Airport in Brno (July 12), the Pantiero Festival at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres in Cannes, France (August 8), and The Great Escape – Australia at Newington Armory in Sydney (October 4).

Additional dates are expected for the band through spring 2009.

Velocifero, the band’s fourth full-length, has steadily climbed the charts since its worldwide early digital release on iTunes last month.
