“Camp Rock,” which stars the siblings and up-and-coming singer Demi Lovato, is currently available at Disney.com for repeated viewings until midnight June 24.

The TV movie, made in the same mold as the “High School Musical” films, averaged 8.9 million viewers Friday night on the Disney Channel, besting the ratings received by the original HSM to become the most-watched non-sequel film the channel has ever aired.

A sequel is already in the works and is expected to debut in late spring or summer 2009.

Perhaps making the telepic available online is a move to appease fans irate about the suspiciously poor sound quality – especially during musical numbers – of the Saturday night broadcast on ABC.
