William Morris Adds Music To Board
Proving that a music department is no longer the red-headed stepchild of a major talent agency, The William Morris Agency has added three music agents to its board of directors.
A traditional board of directors was filled with film and television agents. The one at WMA now includes Marc Geiger, Rick Shipp and David Snyder – all major players in the music biz and, now, all senior VPs at the company, the agency confirmed to Pollstar.
Geiger is head of contemporary music, Shipp co-leader of the Nashville branch and Snyder head of adult contemporary music.
Other new additions to the 20-member board are Paul Bricualt, head of corporate consulting, and John Ferriter, head of non-scripted television.
