Disney Nightclubs To Close

The party’s over for Walt Disney’s Pleasure Island.

The company is shuttering six nightclubs in the Orlando, Fla., entertainment district including BET SoundStage Club, Mannequins Dance Palace and 8Trax, in preparations for a family-friendly facelift to the Downtown Disney area.

The clubs, which have been in operation for nearly 20 years, will close at the end of September.
