The Story So Far
The United States wouldn’t give Boy George a visa, but that ain’t the case in South America as the Culture Club frontman lines up a series of dates in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela. Stops include September 8 in Sao Paulo, September 10 in Buenos Aires, September 12 in Santiago, September 13 in Lima, September 16 in Bogota and September 18 in Caracas. Boy George also adds October 30 in Bromley, England.
Joey Belladonna adds shows in the U.K. and Norway. Today’s update shows the former Anthrax singer playing Glasgow on September 19 at The Ferry, Grimsby on September 20 at Yardbirds, Dudley on September 24 at JB’s and London on September 26 at Astoria 2. Norway dates include Oslo on October 2 at Smuget and Lillehammer on October 3 at Bingo.
The reconstituted Extreme adds November dates for the United Kingdom. The band’s touring calendar now includes November 11 in Cambridge, November 12 in Norwich, November 15 in Glasgow, November 17 in Newcastle and November 18 in Manchester. Other additions include London, Birmingham and Southampton.
And we have two new Brit dates for Stevie Wonder – October 1 in London at the O2 Arena, and October 4 in Birmingham at the NIA.
During the first 90 minutes of biz we also updated the schedules for Robin Thicke, Tishamingo, Hit The Lights, Cracker, Dickey Betts & Great Southern and Eric Burdon & The Animals.
Of course, there’s more to come as we slice and dice all the data sitting on our loading dock and turn it into coherent concert information. Don’t miss your Midday Update, coming up around 12 noon (PDT), from Pollstar.com!
