Weather, due August 4, was released in spring of 2007 in the U.K. and the band quickly caught the attention of whiz-kid producer Mark Ronson courtesy of their reworking of Amy Winehouse‘s “Back to Black” that served as a b-side to one of the disc’s singles.

Ronson asked frontman Charlie Waller to sing during his Electric Proms set at London Roundhouse and followed that with a number of other invitations, including one to this year’s Coachella Festival.

The album showcases the band’s unique combination of soul, ska, doo wop and pop on tracks like “Girls and Boys in Love,” “Alarm Clock,” “Oh Creole,” “Don’t Dumb Down” and “Motorcycle,” the video for which is below.

And just for good measure, here’s that killer remix of “Back to Black.”
