Andy Dick Escapes Felony Charges

Andy Dick won’t face charges of sexual battery stemming from his arrest last month, according to prosecutors who viewed video of the incident.

A teenage girl accused the comedian of pulling down her top at a restaurant in Murrieta, Calif.

The comedian and “News Radio” actor is still scheduled to head to court the week of August 24 to face misdemeanor drug possession and battery charges. Police found one gram of marijuana and one Xanax anti-anxiety pill in Dick’s pocket at the time of the arrest, the Los Angeles Times noted.

A year earlier, he was cited for urinating in public and in 1999 was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana after driving his car into a telephone pole.
