Banks And Wagg To Tell All

London agent Emma Banks and band manager Diane Wagg are two of the women who’ll be explaining how they cut it in the music business at the MCPS Basement Bar in Central London September 17.

The event, which has been organized by the Association of Independent Music (AIM), is to celebrate the successes of women in the entertainment industry.

AIM chief exec Alison Wenham will open proceedings. Shortly thereafter, Banks, who helped set up Creative Artist Agency’s London office nearly two years ago, and Wagg, whose Deluxxe Management roster includes Scouting For Girls, will discuss how they made it to the top and the challenges they faced along the way.

AIM says the evening event, supported by DVD and CD manufacturer Key Production and We7, which offers ad-supported free music downloads, will provide inspiration and networking opportunities for women across the industry.

Men are welcome to attend and may get a chance to say something during the Q&A session at the end of the evening.
