According to the band, CT scan showed that Gallagher suffered three broken and dislodged ribs in the attack and he has been advised by his doctor that he will not be able to perform for at least another week.

The three affected shows are Cornwall, England, Sept. 27; Cologne, France on the 29th; and Paris on the 30th. All three shows will be rescheduled and fans are advised to retain their tickets pending further announcements.

The Oasis U.K. arena tour, which begins Oct. 7, is going ahead as planned.

Gallagher was pushed offstage at the Virgin Festival in Toronto, Ontario, September 7.

Oasis was about a minute and a half into the song “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory” when Daniel Sullivan, 47, who was backstage, rushed Gallagher from behind and pushed him into a monitor cabinet.
