DMX Absent In Court

DMX reportedly missed a Sept. 23 court date in Phoenix because he is being treated for symptoms of a stroke at a Florida hospital, according to his lawyer.

The performer, whose given name is Earl Simmons, was to appear on a bench warrant issued for his arrest in relation to four counts of drug paraphernalia and one count of marijuana possession.

DMX also faces several charges for animal cruelty and drug possession stemming from his arrest last year.
