Izzard will deliver 23 performances of his latest show, “Stripped,” at The Lyric Theatre, beginning November 17 and wrapping December 12, with no Sunday shows.

Tickets are available at NimaxTheatres.com and TicketWeb.co.uk.

Besides his busy stand-up career, Izzard has managed to find time this year for an FX series, “The Riches,” to appear as a German officer in the upcoming Tom Cruise flick “Valkyrie” and to voice the villainous Dr. Schadenfreude in the new animated film, “Igor.”

The comedian recently gave a typically loopy, Izzard-style answer to the Pasadena Star-News when asked about working with Cruise.

“Tom Cruise is very Tom Cruise-ish,” he told the Star-News. “There are certain people who are very themselves-ish.

“John Malkovich is very John Malkovich-y. Jennifer Tilly is very Jennifer Tilly-y. I would say Tom Cruise is enormously Tom Cruise-ish, or Cruise-y.”
