Silverstein’s journey with Chiodos launches October 10 at The Fillmore Detroit and will hit clubs and theatres across the country through mid-November.

Highlights include stops at The Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee (October 11), Knitting Factory in Boise, Idaho (October 17), Rainbow Ballroom in Fresno, Calif. (October 22), Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla. (October 28), The Tabernacle in Atlanta (November 3), Rams Head Live! in Baltimore (November 9) and Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, Mich. (November 14).

Support for the trek comes from Escape the Fate, Alesana and A Skylit Drive.

Silverstein will head back into the studio after the tour to begin recording thefollow up to 2007’s Arrivals & Departures.

The band’s new song, “Broken Star,” is streaming on its MySpace page.

Chidos is out to mark the release of a special edition of its 2007 album Bone Palace Ballet.

The new version, due this fall, features new songs and a 30-minute teaser of the band’s upcoming live DVD, scheduled for release in early 2009.
