Feist and Food Fight Hunger
As if unleashing the insanely catchy “1,2,3,4” on the world wasn’t enough, Feist is asking fans to bring non-perishable food or monetary donations to each stop on the 13-city tour in support of her latest, The Reminder, to donate to a food drive.
Think of it as a potluck dinner where the guests are various charities the singer has partnered with including CARE Canada, Doctors Without Borders, and War Child Canada.
“What’s in it for me,” you ask? According to her web site, “Those who contribute will be rewarded with a chance to win a special prize from Feist.” Score!
Feist’s string of concert dates is reason enough to celebrate with a choreographed dance routine.
She’ll start the dance-off October 14 at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, British Columbia, and grapevine until she gets to Confederation of the Arts in Charlottestown, Prince Edward Island (November 10).
