More X Japan Snags

X Japan’s much-anticipated reunion world tour has run into snags yet again.

Earlier this month, the group announced it was canceling its Nov. 22 show in Paris as well as two late December concerts at the Saitama Super Arena.

On its French Web site, the band said it will reschedule bigger and better shows next year.

According to the site, the cancellations are the result of management deals X Japan has made with Azoff Management and Filament Inc., as well as a promotional relationship that the band is working out with AEG.

These companies have supposedly decided to revise the group’s global strategy, which means postponing the world tour until 2009.

Concerts already planned for Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan and Korea early next year have not been canceled.

The Christmas shows were axed apparently because management decided to launch a full nationwide Japan tour in the spring.

In addition, an expanded European tour is being planned that necessitated the cancellation of the Paris shows, which will be rescheduled when the tour is put together.
