New dates for The Pretenders, David Bromberg and Kool Keith with Dr. Doom!

We’ll post more information on The Pretenders 2009 winter tour as soon as our writers finish spellsheking spellchecking their work. But right now we want to tell you about the dates. Playing mostly theatres, look for the band in Albany, New York, at the Palace Theatre on January 29; NYC at Roseland Ballroom on January 30; Boston at Orpheum Theatre on February 4; Philadelphia at the Electric Factory on February 6; Denver at Paramount Theatre on February 24 and Los Angeles at The Wiltern on March 10. Other cities also on the routing include Ann Arbor, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Akron, Milwaukee, Tulsa, Kansas City, Aspen, Austin, Vegas, San Diego and Phoenix.

Kool Keith and Dr. Doom head out for a club tour in early 2009. Dates include February 17 in Victoria, British Columbia, at Sugar Nightclub; February 20 in Seattle at Neumo’s; February 28 in San Diego at The Casbah; March 20 in Chicago at Reggie’s Music Joint and April 2 in Baltimore at Sonar.

Finally, David Bromberg updates with a Midwest engagement as well as several new East Coast listings. Stops include January 10 in Schaumburg, Illinois, at the Prairie Center For The Arts; February 7 in Fall River, Massachusetts, at Narrows Center For The Arts; May 2 in Princeton, New Jersey, at McCarter Theatre and May 17 in Newark, New Jersey, at New Jersey Perf. Arts Center.

During the first 90 minutes of biz we also updated the schedules for Jethro Tull, Johnny Winter, Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, The Gourds, Tea Leaf Green, Britney Spears and Walter Trout & The Radicals.
