Body Shop Gets Even Hotter

A Hollywood strip joint immortalized in Mötley Crüe’s “Girls Girls Girls” caught fire early Dec. 4, no doubt bringing a tear to many a bleary eye that’s graced The Body Shop since it opened in the 1960s.

The blaze, which burned through the single-story building’s attic and roof, was reported at about 6:45 a.m. and took Los Angeles firefighters about an hour to douse. One firefighter suffered a minor injury, according to the L.A. County Fire Department

The Body Shop, bills itself as the longest running strip club in Los Angeles, and has been a “home-away-from-home” for many a tattooed rock band.

It’s one of several featured in the Crüe’s homage to the institution near and dear to the heart of many rockers and their fans.
