CIC Motorcycle Run
Troy Blakely is planning his annual CIC motorcycle ride but there’s been a significant change.
Unlike years past, the APA agent has decided to forego a run during the first day of the conference and, by popular demand, is organizing it for the day prior – Tuesday, Jan. 27.
The ride used to be timed so that the riders could get back for the keynote address but they missed the morning panels. Now, they have all day to enjoy the ride. Blakely is planning a route from the coastline through the Santa Monica mountains, then through Moorpark and Ojai where lunch will be served.
APA will provide transportation from the CIC hotels to the rental shop near Bartels Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey, but riders must rent their own hogs.
Blakely’s ride, unlike some, does not discriminate against metric bikes (hey, every sensible motorcycle trip depends on them).
