Dizzee Strikes Out
U.K. rapper Dizzee Rascal ran afoul of the law Dec. 12 when his temper apparently got the best of him.
The performer, whose real name is Dylan Mills, reportedly approached another motorist with a baseball bat after a road-rage incident in Kent, a county in southeastern England.
The 24-year-old Mills was taken to a police station in south London and held overnight before being released on bail, according to BBC News.
He is expected to return later this month for trial.
Mills, who won the 2003 Mercury prize, had some previous legal trouble in 2005 when he was found to be carrying pepper spray, which is considered a “section five firearm” in the U.K.
The driver of the car Dizzee Rascal was riding in was also carrying pepper spray, as well as an ASP baton and marijuana. Both were arrested.
