It’s The DMB Spring Tour!

Life just got better for fans of the Dave Matthews Band. The group announced its spring tour today.

With the new tour comes the band’s first studio album in four years – a yet-to-be titled album that drops April 14, the same day DMB kicks off its Spring sojourn with a show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Other dates on the tour include April 15 in East Rutherford, N.J., at the IZOD Center; April 17-18 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va.; April 20 in Pelham, Ala., at Verizon Wireless Music Center; April 22 in Raleigh, N.C., at Time Warner Cable Music Center; April 24 in Charlotte, N.C. at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre; April 25 in Nashville at Vanderbilt Stadium; April 26 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and April 28-29 in Alpharetta, Ga., at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.

May dates include May 1 in The Woodlands, Tex., at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion; May 2 in Dallas at Superpages.com Center; May 5 in Albuquerque at the Journal Pavilion; May 6 in Phoenix at Cricket Wireless Pavilion and May 8-9 in Las Vegas, Nev., at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Tickets for all but the Nashville date go on sale to the general public January 17. The Nashville show goes on sale January 16.

Support on the tour includes The Roots (April 14-15), Old Crow Medicine Show (April 17, 18 and 20), The Avett Brothers (April 22, 24, 28, 29 and May 1, 2, 5 and 6) and Jason Mraz (May 8-9).

Support has yet to be announced for Nashville.
