Morning Thread: Is Spinal Tap A Real Band?

Don’t get us wrong. We love The Tap. But ever since their landmark album “Spinal Tap Sings ‘(Listen to the) Flower People’ and Other Favourites, music scholars have debated whether  David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls are members of a real band, or if they’re just fictional characters portrayed by Michael McKean, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer.
